Mom can't decide whether to stay or move. Aunt Jeanne has TV troubles. Mindy has no idea how to care for an orchid. Well, I have bigger problems...

That is HILARIOUS! My advice? You just need to tell him that you are the self-appointed fashion guru of the family and that your first order of business is to veto all thick-athletic-sock-wearing unless, of course, you are wearing them in the context of athletics.
